Chromecast with Google TV remains a Chromecast. You can still send movies, YouTube videos, and music directly to your TV from your phone or computer by plugging in the Chromecast dongle. However, casting has evolved from a standalone product to a feature of many of Google’s devices. Google already provided a legitimate content streaming experience in the form of Android TV, but without its own dedicated hardware, it barely existed in the market.
