On Tuesday, May 9, the Xiaomi Poco F5 5G and Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro 5G smartphones were released in select global regions. The premier gaming smartphones have top-tier Snapdragon SoCs, as well as Dolby Vision-capable AMOLED panels with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and triple rear cameras. In India, the vanilla Poco F5 5G also made its debut. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, whereas the Poco F5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The former has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W Turbocharging.

Poco F5 5G is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 33,999. Poco is providing the base variant for Rs. 26,999 and the top-end model with 12GB RAM for Rs. 30,999 as an introductory deal. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart on May 16 in Carbon Black, Electric Blue, and Snowstorm White. In India, Poco offers the Poco F5 5G with a one-year warranty.

Xiaomi Poco F5 Full Specifications
The dual (SIM) Poco F5 5G runs Android 13 atop MIUI 14 and has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 93.5 percent screen to body ratio, and 1920Hz PWM dimming. The display is certified to cover the entire DCI-P3 color gamut and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The new Poco phone comes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. With 7GB of empty capacity, the onboard memory can be upgraded up to 19GB.
Xiaomi Poco F5 5G has a Vapour Chamber Cooling System with a 3725mm square heat dissipation area and 14 layers of graphite sheets for thermal management.

The Poco F5 5G boasts a triple rear camera arrangement with optical image stabilisation (OIS) led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera are also included in the camera arrangement. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front of the device for selfies and video chats.
