The iPhone SE 4, which is scheduled to supersede the iPhone SE 2022 model, will most likely not be released next year. Analysts believe that the in-house 5G modem rumored to be included in the model will not be completed in time for the Cupertino-based tech giant to release the rumored iPhone SE 4. Instead, the fourth SE Apple iPhone is slated to be released in 2025, with larger displays and the previously reported in-house 5G modems. Until then, Qualcomm modems are expected to be used in iPhone models.
The iPhone SE 4 will not be released in 2024 because analysts claimed in a research note shared with the publication that the in-house 5G modems that the model had previously been projected to launch with will not be ready by next year. According to Apple analyst Jeff Pu, production of Apple 5G modems will begin in 2025. Ming-Chi Kuo, another analyst, agreed with Pu’s speculations.

Kuo also predicted that the iPhone SE 4 will have a bigger OLED display than previous versions. He went on to say that the display modification is the “biggest change” in Apple’s plans for the handset.
According to reports, China-based Beijing Oriental Electronics (BOE) would supply Apple with 6.1-inch OLED panels for the iPhone SE 4 instead of LG and Samsung, who have previously supplied the business with LCD displays for the lower-end SE versions.
The 4.7-inch Retina HD display on the iPhone SE 2022 has a resolution of 750×1,334 pixels. It’s powered by the A15 Bionic chipset and promises ‘all-day battery life.’ The device has a 12-megapixel back camera sensor and a 7-megapixel front camera sensor.
