Persona 4 Golden, Persona 3 Portable out on PC in January 2023

Next year, current consoles will get Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable. Developer Atlus announced the arrival of its two highly praised JRPGs on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X in January 2023 via a tweet. Although the promotional graphic exclusively mentions Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft platforms, Atlus has previously promised that they would also be available on other consoles. Since 2020, Persona 4 Golden has been available on the Steam marketplace. Earlier this year, it was even approved for the Steam Deck.

After its initial release in 2006, Persona 3 was translated to the PSP with fresh plot additions, making it available to players all around the world. You may play as a female protagonist for the first and only time in Persona 3 Portable when you joined the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) to look into the Dark Hour, a time anomaly that occurs between night and day. In addition to battling Shadows in Tartarus, players can participate in slice-of-life activities where they can interact with other characters and gain experience boosts through social connections.

The more user-friendly entry, Persona 4 Golden, debuted initially on the PlayStation Vita before moving on to the PC. As one of the best games ever made, it goes beyond the conventions of the JRPG genre by allowing the player to explore life as they see fit. Players can get involved in school organizations, hold down part-time jobs, and develop relationships with other NPCs when they aren’t fighting Shadows in the strange “TV World.” Both games will be available on Xbox systems for the first time starting on launch day with Game Pass.

Persona 5 Royal will be made available on all major platforms by Atlus on October 21 in an effort to lessen the wait. At debut, this improved edition will come with all 45 previously-distributed DLC—which bundles new characters, plotlines, outfits, and Personas—for free. The player must attend courses and take part in extracurricular activities as a typical student while also doing a second job as a Phantom Thief, breaking into the thoughts of evil adults. A Metaverse Navigator will also be included in the game, making it easier to find treasure by allowing you to scale walls and vault over barriers.

Additionally, Atlus declared that it will release a Persona 5 Royal card game in 2019. The studio plans to publish the game in Q4 2023 in collaboration with Pandasaurus Games. In this cooperative card-based strategy game, players will assume the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and battle to transform the world, according to a prepared statement by famous board game designer Emerson Matsuuchi.

On January 19, 2023, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable go on sale for the PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
