Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, is expanding its reach. The company announced on Friday that the service is now available in 32 countries worldwide.
If you look at Starlink’s availability map, you’ll notice three different shades of blue, denoting areas where the service is “available,” “on the waitlist,” and “coming soon.” The company claims that if you order the Starlink kit from a section labeled “available,” it will be shipped “immediately.”
Since Starlink exited beta late last year, SpaceX has been steadily expanding the service. In September 2021, it served customers in a dozen countries; by February 2022, that number had increased to 25.

In addition to the United States, the list of countries where Starlink is currently available includes a significant portion of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, as well as portions of Australia, Chile, and Brazil. Nearly the entirety of South America, Africa, and parts of Asia are currently marked as “coming soon,” with the majority of these regions becoming accessible in 2023.
The monthly service fee and one-time dish fee for Starlink have increased from $99 to $110 and from $499 to $549, respectively, in recent months. This month also saw the introduction of the Portability feature, which allows users to take their Starlink internet with them when they travel for an additional $25 monthly fee.
