Following the launch of WhatsApp ban review on iOS, WhatsApp is now working on an Android version. According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp 2.21.18.5 introduces new WhatsApp ban review capabilities that let you report a wrongfully banned account directly from the app’s interface.
The software will display messages like “This account is banned due to spam, yet chats are still on this device”. On the same screen, you may now “Request a review”.
You might be prohibited from using WhatsApp for various reasons, including spamming. For more information, you can state the reason or conduct that led to the restriction.
After a user submits a support request, WhatsApp’s Support team will analyse it and check the user’s account activity to see if anything is wrong.
The corporation will then take up to 24 hours to review the banned account and device details.
If the company’s systems had incorrectly marked the user’s account, they will reinstate it after their evaluation. Your account has been reinstated and the WhatsApp system unintentionally flagged your account. Then, after a login verification, you can access your account again.
If not, the user will be forced to change phone numbers in order to use WhatsApp.
According to Wabetainfo, this feature is being developed for WhatsApp beta for Android and will be available soon.
WhatsApp users on iOS will soon be able to use this functionality. It also plans to make accepting its new Terms of Service optional for those who haven’t previously done so.
We don’t know when it will be released, and even if it is ready, it may take some time before it is made public. WhatsApp has not yet verified the feature.
